That furry side is surprisingly soft against skin, and the leather side has a satisfying snap without being brutal. At 15 inches it's long enough to reach easily but still easy to control. The two textures in one paddle make it feel like two toys in one.
Switching from the firm leather side to the furry one mid-scene is such a nice touch, way more versatile than I expected. The leather has a solid weight to it without being too heavy to control.
The 15-inch length gives me a lot more control than my old shorter paddle, and I can actually aim properly now. Being able to flip from the firm leather side straight to the fur side without swapping toys is exactly what I wanted.
