The adjustment from 28.5 to 37 inches gives you real flexibility depending on the scene. Only gripe is the locking pin takes a little finagling, but once it's set, it holds steady and feels like it can take a beating.
The telescoping adjustment is smooth and locks firmly at every length I’ve tried, which is exactly what I needed for quick changes. Only gripe is the finish shows fingerprints easily, but it wipes clean in a second. Solid feel in hand, and the 28.5” minimum works great for my setup.
