The loop really does land somewhere between a crop and a folded belt, and my partner figured that out fast. Now she's acting up on purpose, which honestly tells me everything about how the sting lands.
Didn't expect the loop to feel so different from a solid paddle. It has a snap that sits right between a crop and something heavier, and my partner's reactions alone made it worth it.
The saffron loop hits right between a crop and a folded strap, and that in-between weight is exactly what I wanted. It lands with a real sting but the loop spreads it just enough to keep things interesting. My partner's been testing it out more than I expected.
